November 2010 Grammy-award-winning music producer
November 2010

The recording Chris Alder produced of Verdi’s Requiem with the Chicago Symphony and Riccardo Muti was nominated for a Grammy in two categories, Choral and Recording of the Year.

Chris was in Singapore to record the soundtrack for the first 3D film of a classical music concert, featuring the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra and Simon Rattle. Rachmaninov’s virtuosic Symphonic Dances and Mahler’s towering Symphony No.1 made up the programme, performed in two concerts in the imposing Esplanade center. Around 50 technical staff were involved and this important EuroArts production will appear in cinemas worldwide in Spring 2011.
